Saturday, June 11th — 10:00am-1:00pm
Miksang, a Tibetan word meaning ‘good eye,’ is a form of contemplative photography based on the Dharma Art teachings of Chogyam Trungpa. In this 3-hour workshop we will be practising the art of seeing. This process will involve consciously abandoning our habitual practice of labelling our visual world, and instead coming into contact with the richness of texture, light, colour, pattern and space that is all around us. The day will involve periods of instruction, short meditations, and time spent in nature. Participants need to bring a camera and a packed lunch.
This workshop costs £25. A portion of the day will be spent outside. We will be meeting at a venue/location in Twickenham which I will announce closer to the time.
Please email Andrea to reserve your place.
