Keeping a mindfulness practice alive, even after completing an 8-week course, can sometimes prove challenging. Most of us need a bit of support to feed our commitment and infuse the daunting journey of self-discovery with a sense of power and delight. I am passionate about creating spaces for people to practice mindfulness with others as well as providing a nurturing environment for working more intimately in a one-on-one. This autumn I will be offering monthly mindfulness top-up sessions on Monday evenings. They will be graciously held in the homes of students who have taken my 8-week course so the total number of participants will be limited to 10. Each session will include a guided meditation, a sharing/discussion period, and a formal teaching on one aspect of the practice. Past themes have included ‘The power of the pause’ and ‘The Hindrances: Understanding what gets in the way of being mindful.’ The cost of each session is £10. To reserve your space you will need to pay ahead of time and unfortunately refunds will not be given if you are unable to come. This is due to the limitations of the venues and also to ensure that I am able to accommodate as many people as possible. Please email to inquire about availability.

One on Ones
I offer hourly sessions for people who would like more time to explore the spaces where life and practice meet. I like to begin each session with a short guided meditation so we can direct our attention to the body and ground ourselves in what’s arising for us in the moment. The remaining time provides a dynamic space for exploring the themes in one’s life and practice that are proving challenging. This might involve the tricky work of holding and working with emotions or the art of bringing mindfulness into relationships at work and at home.
These sessions are priced on a sliding scale — £25 concession, £35 standard, and £50 sponsor. Please contact me to discuss a rate that works for your income and circumstances. If you are able to pay the sponsor rate this will support others who do not have the means to pay.
One-off sessions or more regular sessions are both available, and for those of you that are less local, I also offer Skype sessions.
